On-Farm Seed Saving Workshop (Sept/Oct)

Maximum group size: 25 individuals. For ages 14 and up.

Learn the basics of saving seeds in this half-day practicum! Your group will start by learning how to determine when a crop is ready to save seeds and will help bring in the harvest. After lunch, you will learn both wet and dry seed processing methods on the crops you harvested that morning.

Workshops run 11am-3pm and include a 1-hour lunch break. Lunch not provided. Payment due morning of workshop.

On-Farm workshops take place at The Seed Farm, 5854 Vera Cruz Rd, Emmaus PA 18049

Workshops run rain or shine. Exceptions made for severe conditions, for which a rain date can be determined.
