Abelmoschus esculentus
This okra variety features crunchy, ribbed pods that are lime-green with red at the tips. Harvest the pods at 2-3 inches long. The plants grow 6-8 ft tall and have beautiful red stems.
This variety was introduced by Chris Smith of Utopian Seed Project, who received the seeds at a seed swap from someone who said they got them from "an old black man".
