This “Little Red Pea from Burkina Faso”, is a beautiful variety with glossy, dark green leaves, light purple flowers, pods that mature to dark purple, and inside them, small, garnet-red peas. The peas can be cooked as a dry bean and the tender young pods are also delicious as green beans.
